Ordering & Gifting

Do all necklaces come with the message card?

Yes. Every Little Meanings necklace ships with its meaning card — printed message on one side, blank back for your own handwritten note. The card is part of the gift.

Can I add a personalized note?

Yes. At checkout there's a "Gift note" field — write what you want on the back of the meaning card and we'll include it. Free of charge.

Is it gift-ready out of the box?

Yes. Every order arrives in a soft cream gift pouch with the meaning card inside — no extra wrapping needed. You can ship directly to the recipient.

Can I ship to a different address than my billing address?

Yes — just enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout. Your billing details stay separate.

Will the recipient see the price?

No. We never include receipts, invoices, or pricing in the package. Only the necklace, pouch, and card.

The Jewelry Itself

What are the necklaces made of?

Hypoallergenic alloy with gold or silver plating. All pieces are nickel-free and lead-free, designed for daily wear without irritation.

Will the plating tarnish?

With care, no. Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion, chlorine, and salt water. Store in the gift pouch when not wearing. Wipe gently with a soft cloth.

What chain length do they come on?

Most pieces come on an 18-inch chain with a 2-inch extender (so you can wear it 18–20"). Specific lengths are listed on each product page.

Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes — every piece is nickel-free and lead-free. If you have a known severe metal allergy, email us and we'll confirm the metal composition of any specific style.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

US orders ship within 1–2 business days and arrive in 3–7 business days via standard shipping. Expedited options are available at checkout.

Is shipping free?

Yes — free standard shipping on US orders over $35.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to Canada and select international destinations. International shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Returns & Exchanges

What's your return policy?

30 days, no questions. If it's not the right piece or the right meaning, send it back for a full refund. Return shipping is free in the US.

Can I exchange for a different style?

Yes. Email hello@littlemeanings.co with your order number and the style you'd like, and we'll send the exchange and a return label at the same time.

What if the necklace arrived broken?

We'll replace it immediately — no return needed. Just email us with a photo of the damage and your order number.

Is this a real meaningful brand or just dropshipped jewelry?

Fair question. We curate every piece in our catalog, photograph it in our own studio, and write every meaning card by hand before we add a style to the site. We're small — which means you can email us and get a real reply, often same day.
